Ideal for sharpening of carbide tools. Tough nickel is electroplated over diamonds on a perfo-
rated steel sheet until the diamonds are approximately two-thirds buried in metal. This process
ensures a durable grip and good heat removal. Because the steel is perforated with

" staggered centers, it provides aggressive, cool and fast grinding, creating less disturbance
of the metal surface. This type of construction creates less heat and allows the coolant to be
held on the wheel for a longer period of time. The self-cleaning pattern resists loading.
