Nylon Mallets
With detachable faces
Nylon-faced mallets are nonmarking and shock-cushioned. Faces eas-
ily screw out for replacement. Handles are plastic with comfortable,
nonslip rubber grips impervious to moisture and oil (#821-7080 has a
wooden handle).

Dead Blow Mallets
With detachable faces
Excellent for hammering where a heavy blow is required. The non-
marring features of the urethane faces make these mallets ideal for
separating die sets, seating work in a fixture or vise, straightening cast-
ings, forming sheet metal and assembling or disassembling machinery.
Each cast-iron head is filled with iron shot. As the mallet is struck, the
shot moves forward immediately behind the blow, dampening the re-
bound and ensuring that the force of the blow is transmitted solidly.
Handles are grooved hickory. Each mallet includes two replaceable
nonmarring polyurethane faces: one medium (green), one hard
(black). Impervious to oils and most solvents.

mallet heads are constructed from tough rawhide with genuine
hickory handles. Cylindrical hide coils are hydraulically compressed
to ensure uniform size and durability.
